The story of the Buti Maison starts in the fifties, in the beautiful Tuscany countryside between Firenze, Pisa and Lucca. This is a story of a family, of a passion, of tradition and innovation. The artisan career of Pilade started as craftsman of the typical Florentine chestnut baskets. Nowadays, he still walks around the desks supervising the job of the master artisans and apprentices. Every morning in the factory, Pilade expresses his approval or denial with a thumb up or a thumb down, as he has been doing for the last sixty years, always working with the highest quality standards and a deep love for his creations. Buti is loyal to the original tradition of “Bottega Artigiana”, mixed with a contemporary taste. This makes every piece signed Buti, a timeless masterpiece.
