Maison Bonnefoy
The Bonnefoy family started its knitting business in the ‘40s, learning anything there was to know about spinners and looms, and developing technical know-how that has allowed them to produce for the big French luxury brands for years. In 2015, the founder’s grand-daughter Chloé has taken the business on a new journey, launching the brand Maison Bonnefoy. For us, the simple design of their knitted fashion and home accessories puts the focus on the material: it’s like going back to the pure essence of a product and to its textile possibilities. Each item is 100% made in France and the brand has even been awarded the EPV label, mark of recognition from the French state. They say their secret it’s the use of ancient and modern looms combined, and we can only believe them.
