ORTIGNI

ORTIGNI

Ortigni has its roots back in 1930, when Paolo Ortigni started handcrafting shoes in the Tuscan countryside of Lamporecchio, then passing his skills and experience on to his son, Allegro. After three generations, the tradition of shoemaking is still alive in the family thanks to Fabio, Stefano, and Barbara, who decided to follow their grandfather’s steps. In 1991, they founded the company Sutoris, and then started Ortigni, focusing on high quality products, craftsmanship excellence, and artisanal tradition. From the creation of the prototype and search of materials to the final design and production process, every single step is carefully controlled to guarantee the best quality product for the customer. Moccasins, loafers, and sneakers are crafted using the finest leathers and various techniques—from Goodyear to Blake, Bolognese, or Norwegian construction. Ortigni’s shoes are designed to be durable, elegant, and timeless pieces, for women and men.
